The Founder
Pascal spent over 15 years at the leading edge of digital innovation at Google, yet he is far a typical technologist. A lifelong polyglot and former translator, he understands that a language course is only as effective as its user experience and its content.
At Axēntos, he combines the precision of Big Tech with best practices in education to craft learning environments that work faster for teachers and their students.
The Story
Ever since I was a child, I've been fascinated by languages, dialects and creole languages... Over the course of my life, I've bought an unreasonable number of language books and I still any excuse to try to learn a new language every year.
However, even with today’s technology, finding an effective way to practice a language with a teacher remains a challenge. Exercises are limited or progress is slow, or both. Like many learners, I even thought at some point that I wasn't talented enough. Then one day I realized that the problem wasn't the student, but available methods.
Programming offers so many creative possibilities that we can, and must, do better. That’s why I decided to build expertise at axēntos. Our mission is to create the missing link: a bridge between design, pedagogy, personalized curricula and virtually unlimited exercises that truly boost retention for students of all age.
